About Sileo Pet Services
Sileo Pet Services was born out of my personal experience with my dog, Molly. When I first brought her home, she was battling a range of serious health issues: parvovirus, giardia, worms, and parasites. Molly needed constant care and was on seven different medications, some of which had to be administered in the middle of the day.
At the time, I was working full-time and struggled to find a trustworthy and reliable sitter to care for Molly while I was at work. Despite my efforts, I couldn’t find anyone I felt confident leaving her with. Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to leave my job to care for her full-time.
To deepen my understanding of animal care, I took on a part-time role as a vet tech extern. This allowed me to learn more about the veterinary field and how to provide the best possible care for pets like Molly. I was determined to give her the life she deserved.
One day, I hired a sitter through Rover to help with Molly’s midday medications. Unfortunately, this experience was far from ideal. The sitter brought a stranger into my home without my knowledge or consent, leaving me in tears and deeply concerned for Molly’s safety. That moment was a turning point. I realized there was a significant demand in my area for trustworthy, reliable, and experienced pet sitters, especially for pets with unique needs like medication administration.
I knew I could create something better—a service where pet parents could feel confident and supported, knowing their pets were in safe and capable hands. With this mission in mind, I founded Sileo Pet Services, dedicated to providing high-quality care that pet owners can rely on.

My dog doesn’t like other dogs. Can you care for my dog if they don’t like other dogs or people?
Yes, we care for reactive pets and understand that not every dog is comfortable around other animals or people. However, we do not handle cases of aggression. During the Meet & Greet, we will assess your pet’s behavior and needs to determine if our services are the right fit for them. Our priority is ensuring the safety and comfort of your pet, our team, and others.
4. What vaccinations does my dog need?
Since your dog will not be interacting with other dogs while in our care, we only require the following core vaccinations for their health and safety:
- Rabies (mandatory by law)
- Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
These vaccines ensure your dog is protected from common and serious diseases. While additional vaccines (e.g., Bordetella, leptospirosis, canine influenza) are not required, please let us know if your dog has any specific medical needs or history during the Meet & Greet. Proof of vaccination may be requested prior to starting services.

How do I book pet care services with Sileo Pet Services?
You can easily book our services by filling out a Meet & Greet appointment request on our Square website, emailing us, or calling/texting directly.
7. Do you offer same-day or last-minute pet care bookings?
Yes, we offer same-day and last-minute bookings, but only if a Meet & Greet has been completed beforehand to ensure safety protocols for both clients and contractors. Please note that appointments booked within 24 hours notice may incur additional fees, unless waived by certain bundles.
Can I request a specific time for visits or dog walks?
Absolutely! You can request a specific time, and more often than not, we’ll be able to accommodate it. However, we operate within a window of one hour before or after the scheduled time to account for early or late arrivals. Typically, we arrive on time or within 30 minutes of the scheduled time.
9. What types of pets do you care for?
We care for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small pets like rabbits, turtles, hamsters, and even farm animals like goats.
10. Can Sileo Pet Services administer medications to pets?
Yes, we are trained to administer medications, including pills, injections, and topical treatments, ensuring your pet receives proper care.
Do you include dog training techniques in your services?

15. Who will be caring for my pet?
All members of our team are certified in dog obedience training and pet CPR and are thoroughly trained in our company’s policies and procedures. Unless there are emergency circumstances, you will always have the opportunity to meet the caregiver who will be entering your home and caring for your pets during the Meet & Greet. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are our top priorities.
Can I meet my pet sitter before services start?
Yes! We always schedule a Meet & Greet before starting any service. There is an initial fee for the first Meet & Greet, which will be applied toward your first service to ensure quality and client retention. Every Meet & Greet after the first is free of charge.

What happens if my pet becomes sick or there is an emergency while in your care?
If your pet becomes ill or there is an emergency, we will contact you immediately to inform you of the situation. If we cannot reach you, we will follow the emergency care instructions provided during the Meet & Greet. Our team is trained to handle emergency situations, including administering first aid and seeking veterinary care if necessary, ensuring your pet’s safety and well-being.
19. Can I customize the services for my pet’s specific needs?
Absolutely! We understand that every pet is unique, and we’re happy to tailor our services to meet your pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s administering medications, adhering to a specific feeding schedule, or incorporating training during walks, we’ll create a plan that works best for you and your pet.
We can accommodate visits as early as 5 AM and as late as 11 PM, though our normal service hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM. Please note that an off-service hours fee applies to any appointments scheduled outside of the 8 AM–8 PM window. However, we also offer overnight sitting, which does not incur this fee.

20. How do I know my home and pet are secure while I’m away?
We take the security of your home and pet very seriously. Our team is insured and bonded, and all caregivers are thoroughly trained in our company’s policies and procedures. We provide updates, including photos and detailed notes, after every visit so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
